An Unworkable Theology
I came across the following article last week. It has emerged in various places on the web but I think the original publication is in First Things. It is written by Philip Turner, the former Dean of the Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. I particularly like his discussion about how some use the idea of "prophetic witness" to subvert policies that they disagree with. I will have more to say about this topic down the road.
